Associate Professor of Finance | Olin Business School | Washington University in St. Louis
I am a researcher and Associate Professor of Finance at Olin Business School, Washington University in St. Louis.
My research focuses on questions in corporate finance and economics, applying game theory and economic modeling to understand how firms, markets and individuals make decisions under uncertainty. A central thread running through my work is the interplay between information asymmetries and incentive problems, exploring how these dynamics give rise to the contracts we observe and the bargaining that define economic outcomes. I am equally energized by empirical research where synergies with theory play an important role in uncovering and understanding fundamental questions in finance.
Before joining WashU, I was an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
